Colorado Springs, Colorado
The number isn't 'ten times your salary.' It's the mortgage, the years until the kids are out, and what your spouse would have to replace. We work it out with you in one conversation, then quote term, whole, or both.
What's different here
Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance is $500,000 and it stops at separation or retirement. VGLI gets expensive fast. A term policy bought while you're healthy and still serving locks in the rate for 20–30 years.
Employer life insurance at Memorial, UCHealth, USAA or a defense contractor usually ends the day you leave. One or two times salary rarely covers a Colorado Springs mortgage anyway.
Median home prices here crossed $450,000. A 30-year term policy that covers the mortgage balance is usually the cheapest life insurance you'll ever buy, and the most useful.

Questions we get
Add the mortgage, other debts, and 5–10 years of income replacement, then subtract what you already have. For most Colorado Springs families with a mortgage and kids it lands between $500,000 and $1.5 million — which in term coverage is far cheaper than people expect.
Term covers a period — the years people depend on you — at the lowest cost. Whole life is permanent and builds cash value at a higher premium. Most families need term first; some need both. We'll tell you which and why.
While you're serving, it's a strong base. It ends at separation, and VGLI premiums climb with age. Buying term now, while healthy and in your 30s or 40s, is the cheapest way to keep coverage after the uniform comes off.
Depends on the amount and carrier. Many policies under certain limits are issued with a health questionnaire only. We'll tell you before you apply.
